hey all,
got the lip in today, and pre-fitted to make sure everything is good. the fitment is perfect. it's very high quality.... seems durable. pre-drilled holes and all. looks like it uses oem front lip mounting spots.
hardwares look beefy and sturdy(screws, locking washers, brackets) along with 3m double-sided tapes.
still not sure wut it's made out of..... it's way too flexible to be fiber glass(not to mention the obivous feel) but it seems lighter than urethanes. i thought they were a "mixed composite". they are quite shiny though.
it's goin in the shop wednesday to get it painted along with a new oem bumper cover w/o holes for license plate. plus passenger head-lamp adjustment.
enjoy.

The paint should stick fine. My grill is made of similar material, and a friend who has the Greddy bumper for the WRX (same material) has not had any paint adhesion problems.

I like it, very nice man. Definately leave it black, paint it a flat black as you'll probably scrape it up and its much easier to keep it nice looking with a flat black.
