Viking cues are machine made, and they aren't among the higher end production cues. They are entry-level cues like Meucci, McDermott, and Cuetec. Nothing wrong with them, but there is a definite difference in the way they play. Check into Schon, Joss, and Pechauer for high end production cues.

The reason mine cost so much is it is hand made for me. Weighted to my specifications, the taper and shaft diameter are made the way I want them, etc.

As for being a badass, well, I guess that's a matter of opinion. Honestly, I guess it would be hard to play as long as I have and not be sort of good at it.
