LOL
U just use spray adhesive..just like if you were covering a box for a subwoofer.. once you lay it down it's not going to bond.. you can lay it and stretch it.

Yeah, headliners are cake. But if you're going to put another one in, might as well make it custom. When you go to lay down the fabric, first get a 1/4" sheet of foam(the spongey stuff, the actual name of it eludes me right now) and cut out some flames or tribal signs in it, lay it down first, and then lay the fabric down. It will great the raised flame effect you see in a lot of the show cars. Did it to my truck and it turned out beutifully, major head turner.

nikki- The dash is starting to come off, on the passenger side closest to the door and up under my steering wheel. You can see the foam under the wheel. Philip said that i may have to get a new dash..i dotn know where i can get one instaled.

Choodle- the headliner i have now is really thin, its like bed sheet thin, maybe you can help me out with it, i like your idea.

Tweed is the best fabric to use in my opinion, maybe thats cause I'm a minitruck kind of guy. But it just feels so smoothe and its really easy to work with for custom installs. If I can, I'll post some pics of some of the work i've done with speaker boxes, dashes, headliners, ect. Hell, I've tweeded a lamp before, it was awsome.haha.

Stock materials are lame though. Velvet would look queer, satin is a mess, I guess you could go with shag.
