I'm not clicking a 35meg video...but I have a feeling it would be best to keep me nice if I didn't.
Something tells me my 7 minute (16meg) teaser is better produced (and more legal).
I have been into production for a while man, and if you haven't done it before, I want you to be aware that there is WAY more legal bullshit than you know right now.
Although dropjaw is pretty leniant about using footage from their shows, at least they were for us (Shop 1 Productions).
KISS...Keep It Simple Stupid. That is a motto to LIVE by when making videos. Flashy doesn't cut it anyway for a video (for a 30-second teaser it does...not a full length video). Good clean transitions, good usage of your music, and a storyline with a point go miles.
Not to brag, but I've had nothing but compliments from this video with those principals from KISS:
