which 3 liter? the OHV (vin U) or the DOHC duratec? the OHV is a less fuckup engine, but they all have issues.
namely transmissions, head gaskets, EGR failures, O2 failures, lower ball joints, and Catalyst failures.
nothing uncommon for a late model ford though.

Its the DOHC duratec....what happens in the tranmissions...my 91 seemed to slip all the time...as in you would hear the car attempt to shift but it wouldnt catch in until you let off the gas

Let me insure it first........
89silude
from one prob car to the next...
Yea...but this one was taken care of....majorly....owned by a ford rep so it got its oil changed and everything on time....
When i checked it over it had
New cabin air filter
New Air filter
Retrofitted AC new
Fresh Oil and filter
All belts changed
Steam cleaned engine block
All new fuses
New Spark plugs and wires
Alot of new engine componets
It does need front tires
He was the secound owner of the car...
Now iam the 3rd
Only annoying thing so far is the damn "check engine light" after 100k has poped in....had it cleared and checked....came up all fine...
