96+ cobras got the 4.6 DOHC aka 32v. along with the mark juan's, and a few other years of the hobras. GT's got the 4.6 SOHC.
the 4.6 came out in 92 in the crown vics, 96 was first year in stangs. 94-95's had 5.0's ( the first gen SN95's were bastard childs.)
