Yeah, the et streets are an awesome tire. And that may be what I get. I know that shop sometimes has used tires so I'm gonna check with them first to see if maybe I can get a deal on a slightlly used set.
If not i'm getting a brand new set of 555r 275/40-17 for my street tires. I have dedicated track tires though.

Go with nitto drag radials, they hook like crazy, arn't as expensive, and last longer.
I also had bfg's dr and liked it. The tread pattern is just boobs.

the nittos hooked good at first, I thought traction fell off kinda quickly though. I know of a couple cars in roanoke rocking the et streets that are making more power than you are and they hook up damn good from a slow roll

Think I'm gonna go with the nt05r for a street tire. I hardlly drive the car anyways. Wouldnt mind going with the regular nt05 but I dont want to take the chance on a non drag radial not hooking.
btw...car is probablly making a little over 400rwhp with 17psi boost. The 367/372 was made with 13psi. I typically gain 12-15hp per each psi. It has a 3500 stall which really flashes to 4000rpm and 373 gears. But it does have some suspension.

Those are good numbers for 3.8 id be interested to know how long it lasts, no offence. But still considerably less than the cars I was talking about. But you're prob not gonna find tires that'll really from dig anyway so nittos will probably do just fine for the power you're making

Well, it's been over 370 for a year now. I'm running methanol injection with low timing so that helps.
When it does go, I dont know if I want to swap in a built v8 or build this one and go turbo. People typically see 600rwhp with a built motor and anything over a 60-1 turbo. One guy made 700 with twin gt35's for a while until he cranked it up a little more and ended up cracking a cyl head.
