Default Shops in Lynchburg?

My younger brother is now living in lynchburg and he knows nothing about cars. I sold him my 87 maxima, and I am sure he will need a mechanic who is familiar with the VG30 motors to look at it everyonce in a while (It has about 275k on it). I can deal with it when he is home but while he is away I would like to give him the number of someone who can work on the car for him. Anyone in Lynchburg know a decent shop familiar with VG30 nissan's?

yup, there's a place right off 460 just before Lynchburg (coming from bedford) that specializes in nissans...pass it every day and can't think of the name...hopefully someone else will chime in otherwise I'll reply tom.

If you drive past it again and could possibly get the name and possibly a number I would appreciate it. My brother lives off of 501 very close to a honda dealership(I foget the name of the road), its about 5 minutes away from Candlers Mt. and the mall. Is this shop far from that?

yeah those roads sound familiar, I just helped him move in a few days ago, he is going to Central VA community college, he does not know anything about cars so blow the horn at him if you see a 2nd gen maxima lowered with a light tint on 17" five spokes...he wont know whats going on.

Is that shop good and resonable or is it just some shop you have heard of?

That would be Johnny Ballard...Nissan Guru. He know's his Nissans better than anybody, including the stealerships...lol. He's an old friend of my dad's and is a great guy. They do good work, but they're probably not going to be the cheapest around. I will definitely vouch for them being a good shop though.

EDIT: WOW! Sorry, didn't realize the post date... O well. Hope this helps if you haven't figured it out yet...
