Default Someone decided to back into my EK and leave!

Monday morning at around 9:30AM I was having breakfast at Carol's Place ( a small diner off of 221) and when I came outside, someone had backed into my car and drove off. I had just gotten my car nearly perfect, re-painted front and rear bumpers, new wheels, new exhaust, just clayed and detailed the whole thing the preceeding weekend. Anyways, I went out and got a few estimates and the average total comes to about $1,900. I just wanted to know if anyone could help me out, and see if anyone knows anything. I really can't afford this right now; and wish people would just be adults about situations like this. Thanks for any info, and I'll try to get before and after pics.

Amen to that! If I made a mistake like that, as embarassing as it would be, I would own up to it! I was involved in a hit and run recently too--with a drunk driver. They aren't pressing charges on him.

Wish you the best of luck. What route are you trying to go with? Make an insurance claim, or gradually repair and replace it yourself? What was damaged? Did you attempt to file a police report? If it's $1000+ in damage, it could be considered a felony hit and run.

As of right now I'm just gonna get it repaired. My rents told me they would help me out, so I'll probably get it fixed and then pay them back as I can. I'll take some pictures of the damage tomorrow, also I'll post some before pics. They hit right behind the driver's side door and it's creased all the way to the fuel door. I get so pissed everytime I see it.
