What are you trying to launch at? If you try to launch these cars more than about 2500-3000 then you will nose dive.

5500rpms is where Id launch it from, and please god dont just dump it, as I have a feeling you will. As Joey pointed out, if you're asking how to replace the other belts I VERY much beg you not to try to do a timing belt job. Why the hell were you revving the car up trying to find boost leaks? Dont do that

man i hate your gsx...I have to launch between 2,500-3,500k rpm....*mumbles stupid fwd*

what does choodle drive? I only see a nice s10 with the only set of rims I would ever want on my GST.

Well I've changed out a head gasket on a civic before, just not a dsm. Shouldn't be much different, never done belts though. But yeah, 1Ga Tsi AWD. What is the best way to check for leaks? Doesn't the pressure have to build to be able to find it? I know I can make one of those testers, but I was just lazy I guess. Blah.

revving with no load on the engine is not going to build boost.....



it takes 20 min and ten bucks to make a leak tester....i highly advise you do that.


as for head gasket on a civic vs. a 4G63.....well...good luck.


there are BIG differences.

Yeah thats what I figured. motor looks very intriquite. We'll see what happens I guess, if it fucks up, I'll just take it to Joey!
