Default Thunder Valley Karts

Okay, I know some of you said you would be interested in getting together and renting out Thunder Valley one day. Here's the deal:

Price for inside track: $200
Price for outside track: $250
Available on Sunday mornings, or any time on Monday-Wednesday.

That is for 1½ hours. That doesn't seem like a lot, but figure that each race is 5 minutes long, and you can see how many rides you can get in.

There is no minimum or maximum number of people that we need. It's just the dollar amount we have to come up with.

So, if we can get 10 people to put in $25, we can make it happen. Obviously the more that want to do it the cheaper it will be. I haven't reserved a date yet because I don't know how many of you are serious about doing it. If you are, and we want to go ahead and reserve it, I could have you guys PayPal me your part, and if it ends up being any cheaper, I can refund you the money. Or whatever else will work. We don't have to pay up front. We pay on the day we do it.

Let me know...

Fuck it.. I'm still in.

Question: What if we decide on the $250 outside track (faster karts aren't they?) - - - Does that restrict us solely to the outside track or if we pay the larger of the two prices, would we have access to both tracks? I guess it's not that big of a deal. It's only $25 or whatever... Just curious.

I don't get off of work until 7:15 but luckily I'm a few minutes away if I were to just leave from work and come directly over there. I'm at the Allstate national support center off of Electric. What time do they close?

I believe if we rent a certain track, we can only use that track. They schedule more than one group at a time sometimes. But, I know the owners and the people that work there very well, so we may be able to ride both, but I can't make any guarantees.

They stay open pretty late. The temperature outside is a big determining factor in that though.

i'm all about it if you do it on a wednesday. Outside would be nice if it's a good non-rainy day.

I'll find out what times they are open and what times they have available. It will be next month before they have an opening. It will be warmer then anyways.
