I am, I am!

Although it's really no ones business but theirs, I'm curious to find out how they got started with their business. Do you have any idea whether they had loot to begin with and backed themselves financially? I've always wondered how places like that get started.. as to whether or not they have a financial partner who puts in the $ risk, or if they somehow did it on their own. I do have dreams of one day owning a slew of businesses; I'd like to own a gas station, a restaurant, a coastal hotel (or even better.. a chain!), a club, etc. One step at a time, but I know there are a lot of successful people out there who start with absolutely nothing.

The guy that owns the track also owns the printing company that is in the same business. That business has always done pretty well. We have known them all our lives. A few years back when we started going to Carolina Panthers games, we would stop at a go-kart track down there and ride. He had some empty warehouse space and decided to buy a couple karts. It just took off from there.

So far we only have like 5 people that can definately do it. We need at least 10. Unless you each want to pay $50...

Erm, no!

Not for like an hour and a half at the most anyway. I guess we'll see how it works out. Is this most specifically a drag meet, a PSI meet, or just an all around get together? I can find a few random fockers to come.

Doesn't matter. The more the merrier (and cheaper).

Ding ding ding!

I'm no penny pincher, but I don't know if I want to pay $50/hour for racing go-karts at our sausage fest. If it comes down to it, I probably would, but obviously would prefer not to

Not yet. Like I said, I need to see how many are coming before I can see if it's worth doing. We need a minimum of 10 to make it worthwhile. It will be on a Wednesday. I think we can do it at pretty much any time of the day, but I'll find out for sure later today.
