so have you figured out where the sound is coming from yet?

try the screwdrive-to-the-valve-cover method and see if you can determine what cylinder if any it's coming from

hahahaha! LMFAO

Yea I tried the screwdriver trick already, just didnt find a big enough screwdriver until tonight and I am lucky I THINK, it seems to be coming from the injectors, I think the #1 injectors.. I heard DSM injectors are kinda loud but DAMN, maybe one is sticking?

The EGR valve is right next to the injectors actually and I don't know which it is coming from.. I have the EGR blocked off with a gasket I made out of a piece of frickin aluminum tin, maybe it is leaking.. Its 12:30 almost now and I have to work but I will continue this tommorow! It looks like its not serious like I thought, PHEW! checked my plugs today, a nice sandy/greyish color with dry black deposits around the exposed body at the base perfect.

still gotta get a wideband though just to make sure..

DSM injectors are not supposed to be loud. If the ticking is coming from them then you do have a problem. I have seen it before on a dsm though.. the ticking can be caused by a cracked injector. Did you check them and have them balanced before you put them on? You always want to balance a used injector before putting it on.
