Western Meet and Cruise 15th and the 22nd.
So I figured one thread would work good for both dates. Since everyone did seem to pick the 15th over the 22nd we will do this.
Saturday the 15th: Vally View Overflow Lot @ 5pm Same as last time. Cruise to follow on a route that will be given out at the meet. Plan to leave for the cruise at 6pm. We will end the cruise at the tangle wood parking lot so people can discuss cars more, bullshit, chill, or cut out.
Saturday the 22nd: This is the Natural Bridge Dragway meet. Meet at 3pm We will gather again at the overflow lot at Valley View Mall and Cruise down to the drag strip to have some drag racing fun. Only an 1/8 but from what I hear turnout should be pretty huge.
We will use this route to get there. should be both scenic and fun. I'll generally limit interstate travle as much as possible because thats just asking for people to be pulled over and issued tickets. >> http://www.mapquest.com/maps?1c=Roan...:::::f:EN:M:/e Print that shit out if you have any doubts on the directions just in case.
The gates for the bridge open at 3pm so if we leave promptly at 3:30 and actually drive the speed limit it will take about an hour on the above route. Im sure we can trim a few minutes here and there.
Post up if your in. Also this will be where pics are posted from the next two weekends.
:edit: forgot to add, the Battle at the Bridge hosted by team DOHC is $10 to spectate and $15 to race.
