new forum layout = FAIL.


However the one run between two nearly perfectly matched cars was good. Just wish I could have seen more. Vette needs m0ar boost.

Yeah I definitely want to go again, we were like dead even. If we held into a bit more we would have seen who would have started pulling way high up, but we got going a bit too fast

Apparently that thing dyno'd 700rwhp.

Maybe I am misunderstanding something but I was under the assumption that you were in the E. Or were you in the beetle? I was taking this from your statement of being on 20" rims.

wow, so you ran door to door from a roll with a supposedly 700 rwhp vette!!!!!! I dont mean any disrespect towards you or the E but that is absolutely piss poor on the corvettes part. That dyno number has to be way overinflated.

By the way I saw the E on 419 sunday. LOL all I heard was a loud ass whine and looked in my rearview and saw the rearend of the E running down a red S2000 just past Oak Grove.

Looked and sounded good!

Haha who knows. It was a 03/04 Cobra with a KB blower, i mean it was definitely built and didnt have the stock blower, definitely a stout machine. The Vette just had a Vortec blower on it, but he was behind the Cobra and I. My E is built, no doubt about it, but not quite in the 700whp area. Ran low 11s on an older smaller pulley/tune if that gives you an idea though.

I just wish I had radials on my car at the time and not 20s haha. It would have done even better then. I'd like for us to go back out and do some more runs, it'd be fun. I'm sure the Cobra was not at the top of his game that night. None of us really were though haha we all just got together randomly and ran within like 20 mins of meeting up

haha yeah that was my buddy and I. My other friend had the murdered out A4 thats was rolling with us too, not sure if you saw him or not. The E definitely whines, i love it

What color was the cobra.
When running from a roll e.t's aren't as important as mph IMO. What did the E mph in the 1/4 on the older tune?
