Re: Western Off Topic
That was one of the options I considered.Everybody I know with a turbo Honda track car has lots of issues though.
The other option-keeping the C1 I already had machined and ready to assemble, and selling the 9:1 pistons for 12ish:1 pistons-was the option I wish I'd taken. For what I spent on the ITR swap,I could have bought the needed pistons, some nice cams, had the head ported,etc.....And still had enough money left over to pay for all my track events for the next two years.

Get in my car and you'll remember what being slow REALLY is. :P

That sucks Chris!!!! The ITR motor I had ran really good even with an ls transmission. That tranny also didn't like being shifted at 9k+ rpms but other than that I was very happy with it.

It definitely runs well. From VTEC engagement up,it pulls good. There's just several places where I'm coming off a turn around 4500-5000RPM,and it seems like an eternity until it finally gets to 6k and starts making power....My other gripe is that above about 105-110MPH,it just doesn't have the torque to pull in 5th gear. So,it gets to that point really quickly down the straights, but then peter's out and takes forever to pull any further(I was seeing 128MPH with the B20.Best I saw this past week was 124-125MPH).
I'm getting Jack to tune itlater this month,so maybe that'll make a huge difference.

I hope it does for you. I loved that motor. At that speed (120's) I'm pretty sure I was still in 4th gear at around 8500 rpm-9500 rpm because of my ls trans,so I have no clue how it was actually supposed to feel with the right gearing. I would have loved to had the right Trans!!! I'm sure the tune will help a lot.
