Someone please recommend me a reputable shop to take my car to. My insurance allows me to take my car to any shop i choose. Clearly i'm going to need a body shop, but i also want to be able to know the status of the underside of my car. I know i scrape a lot, and my subframe has taken a beating, but dragging as long as i did, from the speed that i did, makes me nervous about the condition of all that jank....

One time Economy Painting in Salem does a great job. thats who we took all the lot cars to when i worked at Brambleton Imports.

If it's not on your dime, and you want it done right, that is. They're not cheap, but there's a reason why you usually hear those three names when you ask around about local body shops.

Wooding's or Cuz's. Fuck Euro Specialties. They may do good work but the owner is a dick. I refuse to support a business that the owner/boss doesn't appreciate the people working for him or his costumers.

This. He and Joey (Hateful Mechanic) did an awesome job on my sharpie targa. The prep was really (and I mean really) bad when I brought it up there. (my fault for rushing and not doing a good job) but check out this shine..

Does anyone else get insanely, unreasonably pissed off when you walk out to the parking lot and someone is leaning against your car? Or am I just a psycho? I walk out to grab my laptop out of the trunk and I see these two guys just chatting away, leaning up against my car and resting their elbows on the hatch. What I wouldn't give to have a panic button. Cussing at them from across the lot works just as well though. As a matter of fact I'm going to go look at Viper alarms right now.
