I found my problem I didnt get on it good enough I went up to the lake and I actually jump on it in 3rd apparently thats the gear for its power,It was scary how fast it got up and went with est. 230-240 whp.

I have working on a Ford Escort 97 Wagon that has a custom Turbo setup on it. i am having it tooned next weekend
and i am hoping to hit around 200whp. I have gutted the car and removed all weight. Woo will be doing the tooning and he
has promised that i can beat any mustang 5.0.

1st it pulls hard than 2nd it feels like it slows down like the gear is high than 3rd it just pulls like a bat outta hell.It might be spinning in 2nd a little bit but not much.

I have a stupid question,but should I turn traction control off because I was driving in the snow a little bit ago and noticed it slows the engine down when it breaks traction basically it stopped the car when spinning at low speeds.So I'm thinking its spinning in 2nd and the traction control is slowing it down.

I know exactly what you are talking about!!!
I had a 87 Honda accord that acted the same way. It was a dog in 1st,2nd,4th and 5th gear had no acceleration......but third gear was so fast.... I could never explain it. I am glad I am not the only one now with the crazy third gear
