There are so many good roads in this area that we enjoy more but for this large of ride the best choice is the Park Way.
Route 60 ->
Right onto 501S
501S merges to Route 130
Right onto 501S (Bridge overlooking the Snowden Dam)
Right onto Blue Ridge Parkway
Towards Waynesboro or Roanoke, that's up in the air.
We could go straight to the Park Way but that won't be near as fun as taking Route 130. Most of you are loving that idea, I know. As for which way on the Park Way, I'm leaning towards Waynesboro with a drive back on 64/81. Tell me what you think

We have been experimenting with video and this is a teaser that was created by David Wampler from our first day of clips. Many of these were recorded on the route we will be taking April 2nd.
We will be filming throughout March and April, including April 2nd. If you have a HD video camera, bring that(and record) as there is no such thing as too much footage.
Check out the video here:

UPDATE:
the MEETING LOCATION has changed to Lee Hi Travel Plaza as it's more convenient and more accommodating than the previous location. Lee Hi Travel Plaza has gas, two restaurants (Burger King and Berkley's,) a convenient store, and a campground too. It also has been featured on the Travel Channel and the History Channel.
More information can be found here: Http://www.leehi.com/
the ROUTE has been finalized. It willl include interstate driving and mountainous roads. Due to the large attendance an easy to follow route has been chosen. It also happens to be the most scenic of roads in this area.
To see the route, click here: http://www.WVRCM.info/map.html

I am currently coordinating meeting spots within Lynchburg and Roanoke for those that wish to caravan to the event. If you are outside these areas and wish to organize a caravan to the event - Get in touch with me

Date and time is the same. I will be posting guidelines tomorrow to keep driving order(preventing a free for all) and making this an accident-free drive. It will also aid those shooting picture/video. To Waynesboro - Keep Order. From Waynesboro to Home - It will be a free for all(if your group wants to eat food, or if you want to drive back. Cool. Do whatever.)
I am also finalizing details regarding 2 models coming. Two sexy girls that love cars as much as being in front of the camera.
