Hey...I have been here almost 2 montsh now and don't do crap! Been to Roanoke a few times. I've seen a few decent VWs around Lex....one black WRX...thats about it. Even though my Subie is up an down still looking to meet some people. Does anyone still go to Natural Bridge on Friday's or is that over?

come to lynchburg and:

a) find the "10 second 1/4'th" probe
b) race the monte carlo club
c) waste gas and go home dissapointed

Haha definitely do that if you go to Lynchburg. If you see my red neon around I'll race you just so you won't be so damn bored. Screwing w/the Monte Carlo club is a must, they'd race a person on a skateboard and probably still lose to it.

have you heard about or seen the 10 second probe?

i have some friends that work at autozone and the guy went in there once to buy some wiper blades or something, started talking and said he had a header bolt loose on his turbo manifold and was losing about 20 hp...with that bolt tight he said he'd run NINES YO.

and he said this with a straight face, dead serious.

I used to frequent Lynchburg, then the girl I was going to see dumped me....

But, I know the guy in Lexington with the black WRX (I'm betting it's the same guy). He's in the Blue Ridge Subaru Club with me. If you feel like venturing down this way, there's always something going on. May not be the most exciting thing ever, but at least it's something to do.

I think we'll be at Natural Bridge this Sunday. Got my new turbo today, and hopefully will have it installed by then.

Cosmo...I should be at NB on sunday seeing it is going to be 75 and sunny all weekend. Does the black WRX have chrome rims that you know, or black-chrome?? I did see a RB one at Wendys one day with Bronze rims and some kinda front splitter/spoiler but thats it. I'll have the 98 2.5 RB with ME tags..."SDEWYZ", hope to see you there.

Cosmo, where do you guys hang out or frequent in Roanoke? I saw a blue STi last Friday night with the gold rims at Valley View Cinemas....any idea who that is?

It's an older lady that owns the one blue STi I know about. A friend has a black STi. Yeah, that black WRX in Lexington has Konig wheels. I can't remember which ones, but they're gunmetal with a polished lip I think.

I hope to make it to NB Sunday. My new turbo came in yesterday, and hopefully it will be installed Saturday.

As for where to hang out, well, it varies. In the summer we go to Fast Freddy's in Salem on Saturday nights. In the winter, we don't do a whole lot. I've been hanging out with some friends of mine who have a "car club" but it's mostly ricers. The good thing is that having a turbo car puts me at the top of the totem pole there. But, aside from being ricers, they are nice people, which is all that matters.
