I dont know why Roanoke went downhill. I understand a lot of ppl moved on and went to college, started careers and shit, but i think the younger generation now must be a bunch of fucking pussies. B/C I heard no one cruises now, there are no parties, and no more racing. I even heard that no one goes to the drag strip on fridays anymore! WTF Happened? Something is wrong with the world today! Downtown is even dead from time to time I hear!

To be honest I'm glad the Street Racing Shit has died down I am by far no saint but Its just dumb to do (father coming out) As far as NB I still go when I feel like it. The whole "scene" has died a tad here again another good thing I hated driving around and haveing punks rev at me in there Stock ass CX Hatch with a fart can and then get pissed and ricer flyby when you didnt bite. Downtown sucks ass always has after I turned 21 I tought it was sweet after about umm 2 weekends I said yeah f this. And the BIG W got to gansta for my liking it got to the point everytime I went out there someone wanted to start shit . But all this has been going on for years not just in the last 2 or 3 but damn even back in 97-98.. I kind of got sick of cars becuse of the dumb stuff but now I am loving working on my CRX becuse its died down some kind of how it was when I first got into it..

People still cruise williamson, just not when its real cold like this. Street races go on still, but cops break it up with a half hour. Not really too many nice cars on williamson, only thing that is really holding willy together is the truck scene, few nice dsms, couple nice hatches, and a pretty cool little SE-R turbo. Other than that.............Go Mart. haha.

Yeah This is True But I do Feel the People who got into it only becuse of that are starting to purge off some and thats good to me
Like I Said Back when I could Count On One hand the Import performance people (not show but performace) its starting to feel that way again thats How I met Chris Martin. Derek and Scott have been my friends for years (high School) and I met Marshall and Chad on the Hybrid Board back in 99 then Jeff through Marsh. You could just tell who was into it by there car and everybody was cool then there was the whole My Club your Club thing and I remeber people getting Mad becuse TNG was Honda/Acura Only and wanted to "get in" that was a joke we were never a club really just guys who hung out and wanted to Go to Races and stuff together

On another note Williamson Rd did get really ghetto and thats all ppl did was try to start shit, but there were still some good times.

I was in Advanced Auto the other day and he was bragging about how fast he could drive Windy Gap in his WRX, so this guy in a Z28 challenged him to race it during broad daylight mid-afternoon, so their boss told them to clock out and settle it. They did. lol....But yeah, I know Mark bought the GS-R. I've already raced him in it.
