Understand that completely. I wasn't trying to call anybody out or say anything bad about another member. I live in Roanoke and I have seen most of y'all around town I just tend to do my own thing and I don't hang around with many people. If I don't have anything to do I will take a ride out there on a Friday night. Roanoke isn't a bad place IMO and there are decent people and cars around here. Just some people on this thread make me shake my head because of the things they say, and it always seems like anytime somebody says something in the western section about Williamson road this is always what happens. Another reason I do my own thing, not a fan of the drama shit people like to start then again I have never been to one of y'all s meets but have seen y'all at valley view once or twice.

I can entirely understand why my statement could be taken out of context. My point was not to focus in on people who are disabled, or have experienced dramatic hard-falls in life but rather on those who do have the ability to work and instead decide to leech off the government (who leeches off of hard-workers).

I'm extremely pro-capitalism, I'm not a fan of the government - especially its heavy involvement in the economy... and many lazy people love this fact. While in an ideal world i'd love to see friends and family work together to support those who are disabled or mentally handicap, rather than the government at times, I realize this is unrealistic. My statement was not aimed at such people, it was aimed at those who rely in welfare only because they don't feel like working and make up every excuse as to why they can't.

I'm all for people being helped who honestly cannot help themselves, I don't have a problem with that. I have a problem with the government and lazy ass bastards. Most programs like public healthcare, ACORN, etc., are really just established to fulfill the agenda of our socialist government... while these programs MAY benefit certain groups, they really don't serve their true intended purpose as best as possible. The government is dipping its hands in every possible area of the private sector, and this bullshit has to stop.

Because Williamson road has turned to shit. It's nothing but ricers and retards out there. The last time i went out on Williamson, i was rear-ended in the Go-Mart parking lot by a fgt in a v6 Mustang. His excuse was "i was looking at my girlfriend and i thought you pulled out, so i went." that was about 2 years ago, and i haven't gone since. That's why we have our own meets and cruises. No one races, no one wrecks (other than Devin lololol) and no one gets in trouble.

I understand where you are coming from. Williamson has it's fair share of ricers and retards to say the least, but I know some personable people with common sense that go out there. As far as your meets and cruises, it seems like a good time. The "ricers and retards" have turned Williamson into a cop hangout and they still continue to act in the same ways they get there names. I am still fairly young and if somebody calls me and says "Yo want to head out to Williamson for a little bit" I will most likely if I have free time on my hands. But I do agree that Williamson and they people that go out there live up to what most people say about it.

so quick to point fingers when you know nothing about me. just like i said earlier always someone on here trying to prove they are better/ more mature/ more successful or something than another when they know nothing about the other person. You are part of a VAdriven group who are very unwilling to accept other peoples opinions. Maybe you do have a better job...maybe you do have a nicer car. No one really cares but you. We do what we can if that isn't good enough for you then get over it. Stop being such a drag maybe you should actually try to make friends instead of call people dumb or immature as soon as you realize they arent already one of the people thats in your group of friends.

and on another note what is williamson supposed to be? is it to drive up and down and waste gas and make the prices go up?.. not being a dick but i dont think williamson has a real point except for a place for people to act like race car drivers in their non-racecars.

Well, back in the day (late 80's - early 90's) Williamson was actually pretty cool. As long as you weren't acting a fool you could hang out in parking lots and talk, cruise up and down and see some really nice cars, etc. But, these days with the way the kids are, I wouldn't go near that place on a weekend night.
