I'm about 99% sure I know the owner. I believe he was a customer of ours at one time. If I'm correct, he has a nice later model Corvette that is his daily driver.

Wow!!! That would mean the car is driven around 4 miles per month. Dang.
Seriously though I hate people that do that. I cannot stand most cars being investment items. I understand they have value but at least drive it once in a while to enjoy it thats the whole reason why it was built. I envy jay leno though.

I'm probably the only one impressed with this, but I was happy to see such a rare Corvette being sold out of the Roanoke area. Not only are the old ZR1's hard to come by, but this motherfucker has 950 original miles. How do you buy a car like that and keep it for 19 years and not drive it more than 1000 miles???
Looks like they're asking more than $40k for the car, but I think it's almost a sure thing that the value is only going to go up.
